Mexel 432 technology is one of the most innovative, effective and environmentally safe water-treatment systems on the market worldwide today.
Mexel Industries S.A. was founded in 1990 in France in order to develop environmentally safe solutions to treating the water used for cooling in industrial processes. These systems experience problems with fouling from a variety of biological and chemical sources, that significantly increase their operating and maintenance costs and decrease their efficiency.

Concerned by the detrimental environmental effects of the chemicals being used to combat fouling, scaling and corrosion, MEXEL developped a specific product based on three simple and common-sense concepts:
1) Prevent problems, rather than deal with crises,
2) Act at surfaces levels. rather than by treating the whole volumes of water,
3) Repel and dispers fouling organisms and materials, rather than killing organism present in the water.
The research led to Mexel 432, a new approach for treating cooling water. Mexel 432 received two international patents in 1995, and a modern manufacturing facility was established close to Paris.
